This is the brochure which launched with MGD Technologies’ original product. This technology and the way it was conveyed to the municipal water flow engineering segment is what put MGD on the map. The messaging communicated that the product was advanced, unique, and could measure flow in the most difficult environments. It is known in the industry that large pipes and open channels were difficult to measure, but that this technology came back with a highly accurate reading comparable to technology costing 20 times more.
Within 7 years, MGD was catapulted to the #1 product in their industry and continued developing product lines for increasingly specified uses before being purchased by Teledyne. Key Advertising is the agency which developed those pieces in addition to the marketing strategies used, which included overall messaging, the MGD web site, ads for trade publications, mail pieces, and trade shows.
